WEIRD COCKTAIL is my debut CD as leader and was released in Spring 2005. The album features myself on keyboards, Joe Poole on drums and Chris Banks on bass. PEACE OF MIND-After a long international career as a sideman, J.V. Dixon is breaking out solo with a new repertoire of original and cover material that draws on many of the influences he’s gathered over twenty years in the U.S., Canada and Europe. In May 2007 he released his debut album as a solo artist entitled “Peace of Mind”, featuring his own Jazz, R&B and Blues originals.
